Part time U15 Lead Coach

 

Περιγραφή Ρόλου:

To work with the U15 age group and develop players through the Academy programme to transition through the age groups. Through both team and individualised sessions, games and other aspects of the programme, to ensure players are supported in their learning and development that aligns to the Academy philosophy and programme.

 

Καθήκοντα:

  • To lead the U15 age group implementing best practice at all times through both team/individualised coaching sessions and an Academy games programme;
  • Perform match day duties for the U15 players and lead on the management of games/matches;
  • Support the other youth development phase coaches as and when required;
  • To ensure the coaching follows the recommended Academy footballing philosophy and technical programme;
  • To liaise with players/parents in a professional manner;
  • Conduct two parents’ evenings per year;
  • Attend relevant induction evening for this particular group;
  • Provide feedback on each individual player as part of the player handover process;
  • To be responsible for logging coaching sessions and evaluation sheets onto Academy PMA system and Sports Session Planner;
  • To complete and compile match reports including player grades, register and minutes on the pitch and record on the PMA system;
  • Work with performance analysis to implement the use of the Hudl software to benefit both yourself and the players;
  • Undertake various meetings within the department and across the Academy;
  • To liaise with Recruitment Department regarding trialists;
  • To undertake the specific Individual Development Plan recommended by the Academy;
  • Continually keep up to date and attend Academy CPD events;
  • To carry out any such other duties as the Head of Academy and Head of Coaching may reasonably assign or delegate in connection with the business of the Club from time to time.

 

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:

  • UEFA A Licence;
  • Youth Modules 1-3 and Assessment;
  • FA AYA (or working towards);
  • FA Safeguarding;
  • FA First Aid.

Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team;

Ability to work independently;

Good communication with key internal and external stakeholders;

Ability to meet deadlines;

Good listening skills (particularly pastorally for players);

Good level of analytical skills;
